NEXT BOARD MEETING:
The next DFA Board meeting is Wednesday, July 16th at 5:30 at the Fairgrounds - in the Industrial building (Fair Board office). This meeting is open to the public and we would love to see you there!

OPEN RIDES:
There are still many open rides scheduled - make sure and check out the web site for dates and times of the remaining open rides.

SO. ST. LOUIS CTY FAIR WEEK:
The fair is fast approaching and we will need help from our members for the Friday and Sunday horse shows. If you are available on Friday (8/1/08) from 11am till about 5pm and would like to help with the Draft and Pony Show - please call Julie Sathers ASAP at 390-8268. If you are available for a time period on Sunday (8/3/08) from 7am till 6pm for the game show - please call Jennifer Bergquist at 724-6100. These are both fun events and help is needed in the office and in the ring for both days. Free passes for the fair will be given to you to get in - but they must be mailed to you...

DFA PLAYDAYS:
The August playday is in its planning stages and a show bill will be ready after our next meeting. The playday is set for Saturday, August 23rd - starting at 9am. If you can help out with the playday, please call Carol Frink at 591-6625. At this time the September playday has been postponed - unless someone steps up to the plate to run the event. Contact Carol Frink if you are interested in doing this.

The patterns for the St. Louis County Open Pleasure Show on August 2 have been posted by judge Dawn Taylor.
